| A Co-founder of the FALTS, Mr. Schmitz is the
least experienced player on tour. He only recently
began playing tennis competitively in 2001. Standing
6 feet and five inches, his serve has the potential
for greatness, but opponents are quick to attack
his weak backhand. Until he can improve his all-round
game, Schmitz is not a serious threat to win tournaments
consistently.
A George Mason University graduate, Mr. Schmitz
is currently working for the government, but remains
wholly dedicated to the advancement of tennis
as a mainstream sport.
Schmitz's home court is the Fairfax Garros, site
of an open tournament scheduled each November,
and periodically throughout other times of the
year.
